Bounded on the west by the rugged Valhalla mountain range and on the east by the Selkirks, the heritage village of New Denver is situated on Slocan Lake, between Kootenay Lake and the Arrow Lakes. Slocan Lake has no dams upstream, its water-table and shoreline are natural and pristine.
